Inspection Systems: High-speed fastener sorting

According to its manufacturer, the new Cyprovision Mach 7 ultra-fast automated vision inspection system is capable of sorting fasteners up to 10 times the speed of previous machines. The new machine model is not only faster but it is also more versatile, capable of inspecting bolts, washers, screws and more at very high rates of throughput. The Cyprovision machine can inspect up to 3000 ppm, which is 10 times the rate of former turnkey machines.

The machine sorts out mixed foreign material and damaged part problems without the need for operator. Containment Level 1 situations (in which the re-inspection of parts is performed by the manufacturer’s own staff) as well as Containment Level 2 conditions (in which an expensive outside re-inspection authority becomes involved) are also eliminated with the Cyprovision inspection machine.

An operator is required only to participate in the material handling of the fully weight-counted boxes after machine inspection.
