Connecting Rods (Lock Slot)

Problem:

After machining, the connecting rods have lock slots that need to have proper orientation and depth. They also had an oil through hole that would retain an occasionally burr.

Solution:

Create a vision system that would look at the machined ID of the part and locate and inspect the lock slots. Using a second camera, we were able to look through the oil hole to insure that it was clear of burrs.
